Meet Dan the Doodler

Christchurch lad, born and bred, Dan is the latest addition to our studio, working alongside Paul and Chris in the graphic design and art direction team.

He’s a furniture maker, camper van crafter and graphic designer who just happens to be an awesome illustrator. If you saw the giant jigsaw puzzle installation that we did for The Palms, that image was all Dan The Doodler.

When not in the studio he is running a Boutique Campervan rental company, Matt and Dan’s Campervans. “I’m super proud of my hobby becoming a reality as every weekend I slave away in the workshop creating Scandinavian log cabins on wheels. Very fortunate to be able to create stuff all week on my computer screen, then physically create something I love in the weekend.”

Dan is what we call ‘A machine…’ “I don’t know when to stop doing things.. I’m like a shark. If I stop swimming forward, I’ll die.”
