We were engaged by Environment Canterbury (EC) on an identity review with consideration to the Local Government brand guidelines.

As part of this project, we ran internal brand workshops, drafted key messages, designed a wide range of future communication assets, and undertook the hero photography. We built a detailed brief of potential images to match the specific responsibilities (Air, Water, Coastal, Hazards, Emergency, Partnerships) of EC and supporting key messages.

Once approved, we proceeded to location scouting, talent selection, site management, partner permissions, art direction, and retouching final selects. The result is a strong, cohesive range of images that will suit EC for many years.

During this project, we were also engaged to apply the refreshed identity to the main website; working directly with the appointed developer and the EC project team to refine web designs, implementing the tone of voice and selecting additional supporting imagery from an existing library.
