Ang’s Recipe for a successful Xmas

  • Xmas morning - Bellini Cocktail

    3 parts Champagne
    1 part Peach Schnapps
    1 dash Grenadine Syrup

    Pour into a champagne glass.

    During the day - A jug of Pimms is always a must

    Pile all the ingredients in a tall glass, mix and sip. Best make a jugful, you never know who’ll turn up at the sound of the ice tray leaving your freezer

    Highball glass
    50ml PIMM’S No.1
    150ml of Ginger Ale
    Mint, cucumber, orange, strawberries
    Cucumber to garnish and ice



  • And for something a little fancy - Lemon Meringue Martini

    1 shot vodka
    ½ shot Triple Sec
    ½ lemon, juiced 
    ¼ - ½ shot simple syrup
    ¼ - ½ shot limoncello 
    1 egg white

    1. For a sugar rim, run a slice of lemon around the edge of the glass, then dip in sugar. Set glass aside.

    2. Combine vodka, triple sec, syrup, limoncello, lemon juice and egg white in cocktail shaker without ice. Shake well. Then add ice and shake again to chill the cocktail. Strain into martini glass.

    And usually a Bailey’s to finish the day off nicely!
